Ishtar // Moving On - Official Music Video

Reading an old diary I found myself laughing about the insignificant things from my past that seemed so important at the time, and now are just memories on paper, so different to what is important to me now. I began contemplating the many changes that happen in our lives, and despite everything we experience, life just keeps "moving On".Sometimes we move with it, and sometimes we get stuck, like a leaf against a rock in a stream.

I wrote the song as a reminder of how important it is to reflect on this, and to accept change in order to grow!

The making of the video clip became a journey that was symbolic of the meaning of the song. Many shots were of places from my childhood, which evoked memories from my past and made me reflect on my life and the many "moves" i have made.

It is so important to enjoy where we are now, in this very moment, wherever it may be. And not think too much about where life might be taking us!

Hyatt Sanctuary Cove

Hyatt Sanctuary Cove

We just love filming at Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove, it has several locations for your ceremonies, wonderful grounds for bridal party photo shoot and many different reception rooms which cater for everyone.  The Hyatt girls are so lovely, professional and fun.  Here is a little snapshot of our recent bride and grooms at the Hyatt that we use for Hyatt Expos.

Rob and I sported our fluro safety vests and filmed Mark Winterbottom, Jonathon Webb, Tim Slade, Jack Perkins, who went head to head for a charity event for the up and coming Coates Hire Ipswich 300 at Queensland Raceway.  Such a fun day filming the V8 supercar drivers.  Lots of argy-bargy both by V8 supercar drivers and local parliamentarians and celebs on the Ipswich Kart Club track. Turn1 Motorsports corporate karts flew around the track.

Coffs Harbour

Coffs Harbour

We did our regular holiday trip to Coffs Harbour and when you have all the time in the world you can do fun stuff with the camera, lenses and post. Rob had just received our new little gem in the size of a 50mm,mmmmmm, the glass is just sooooo good. He also started to experiment with timelapse on the Canon 5d.  And well a bit of colour grading in post always adds a different dimension. Enjoy!
