When Ashley and Jaimie came to the studio I just knew their wedding was going to be a lot of fun!  Ashley was nervous getting ready but he covered it up with his constant humor.  Jaimie was busy writing her speech when Stephen from ST Photography and I arrived.  Their wedding and reception was at The Links Hope Island Golf Course it was such a beautiful day with so many family and friends and lots of great music.  We had a wonderful time on the bridal shoot, all the bridal party are very quick witted and humorous.  Stephen spends a lot of time on the ground, however he is a true master in photography.  Thanks again to the wonderful staff at HopeIsland they all know how to make you feel at home. Please leave a message for the wonderful Ashley and Jaimie.

Simon and Evie Wedding Day Highlights

Simon and Evie met when they where working out at the gym and I believe a motorbike ride sealed the deal or was its Evies' Greek cooking that won Simon over.  A fantastic day starting with the boys getting ready, Simon was doing ok until Kristie, Brett from ngg studios and I arrived, so daunting with three cameras waiting for you to smile, however Kristie and Brett make everyone so relaxed. Then off to Evies' parents house where Evie pinned corsages on all the family and bridal party, traditional music playing, champagne popping, you just get so caught up in the moment.  They where married at the Greek Orthodox Church in Bundall where you could stay and fillm just the church for hours.  The Bridal shoot was at Emerald Lake Residences that resembles a mini european city such a refrehing change from the usual GC hot spots.  The reception was held at Hope Island Resort, which has always been a favourite of mine, the venue and staff are so professional and really make you welcome.  Ending the bridal dance with the traditional Greek celebrations smashing of plates!

Please leave a message for the newly weds Simon and Evie

Azrin and Jane's Wedding Day Highlights

Ok officially the most cutest couple.  Azrin and Jane just bowled me over with their love, fun and attention to detail on their wedding day held at the beautiful Mantra Resort Kingscliff.  Clarah Luxford created a wonderful ceremony where Jane and Azrin had thanked very special people throughout the ceremony, it was such a special touch.  Kristie and Brett from ngg studios went to town with some great locations, check out their website it is so worth it.  Our bridal shoot was made so easy with this adventurous couple.  A special tea ceremony to end the formalities, the only thing is I just wanted to keep filming.

Please leave a note for this lovely couple.

'It was such a great feeling to relive the day through your video. You and Rob are absolute geniuses and artists! It was beautifully woven.
We can't wait to see the rest of it!
Warmest Regards,

Riccardo and Elizabeth Wedding Day Highlights

I had meet Elizabeth a few weeks before her wedding and she wanted to video her wedding day as a surprise for her husband Riccardo, which is always a little scary, when I arrive with the camera, however he was a great sport and the camera loved him.  Their wedding was at Hyatt Sanctuary Cove Chapel and was made so special with 5 grandchildren being such an important part of their wedding day with a touching ceremony by celebrat Clarah LuxfordPeter Crichton had a lot of fun making the most of the adorable bridal party and beautiful grounds for the photo shoot.  The reception was held at the Fire Place Restaurant just an amazing setting and a big thank you to Janelle and Nathalie for all their help and support, always a wonderful experience from the staff and chef at Sanctuary Cove.  Music was very important, Elizabeth surprised Riccardo with the creative fingers of Peader O'Carroll on the Harp for the ceremony and pre dinner drinks, then an very, very cool blues band for the reception.  Everyone just had a blast!  Please leave a message for Riccardo and Elizabeth!

'What can we say? Excellent!' Riccardo and Elizabeth

Jesse and Rachel Wedding Day Highlights

The wedding of Jesse and Rachel was just a blast.  Started with bridal preparation for Rachel at the Radisson Resort, Carrara.  Rachel is so good with the camera, making our life so much easier.  I meet Nik and Angela from Divine Moments, really enjoyed shooting with them, so tranquillo, some awesome pictures of Rachel are on their website.  Then Jesse was patiently waiting at the Robina Woods Golf Course, where they had their ceremony next to the lake, which was such a nice change.  Then off to the bridal shoot around the grounds at Robina Woods, so many spots, never enough time.  The Boys did a Beatles 'abbey road' picture, which took about three takes which was so funny, it has made it to the long version. Robina Woods reception was first class, the staff and the food is always excellent.  Please leave a message for Jesse and Rachel.

Ashley and Rachael's Wedding Day Highlights

What a magical day!  Ashley, his father and brothers use to fish at Hastings Point Headland so it was a natural choice to have one of your most important days there too.  Rachael looked amazing walking down the hillside into the ceremony setting which was tastefully created by Santai ResortLauren Joy Photography whisked us off to some great beach locations and Santai Resort for the bridal photo shoot and reception.  Rachael and Ashley where a joy to work with, they definately had no problem working with the cameras.  Santai Resort reception setting, service and food was first class, such a beautiful venue to waste the hours away.  They had a duo called Burlington Sessions which where fantastic –  I wish you all the best for a beautiful married life.  Please drop a line to Ashley and Rachael.

Sean and Trudi Wedding Day Highlights

What an adventure Sean and Trudi had on their wedding day.  The boys arrived in Sean '77 Holden Torana and the girls in a '56 Chevy so stylish!.  They had picked a beautiful location to get married at the Currumbin Estruary with Elephant Rock in the background.  Danielle from Windsong Weddings created an amazing beachside wedding. Sean did a wicky burn out in his Torana after the ceremony.  For the bridal shoot we went to Elephant Rock getting some great shoots with the rain clouds looming. The reception was held at the Rocks Resort Currumbin. Trudi wins the 'bravest' bride award.  I did a little research, its good luck when it rains on your wedding day.  It comes from several cultures mainly from the Hindu with the idea that a wet knot is harder to untie. Since marriage is often referred to as tying the knot.  All the best to you both.  Please leave a message for Sean and Trudi.

Michael and Leanne Music Video

Just one of those classic GC days.  I haven't filmed St Margarets Chapel at Gold Coast Arts Centre in a long time, so it was nice to be there again.  Kate Guiney was the marriage celebrant for Michael and Leanne.  Michael and the groomsman looked very handsome in black suits and sunnies.  While the bridemaids all dressed in black made the picture perfect.  Michael made a great call to move the signing table out under the tree, just a beautiful spot to seal the deal!  And naturally after the ceremony you get very peckish, so off to Baskins and Robbins was where Derek Smith Photography and the bridal party started eating icreams and start the bridal party shoot – lots of fun!  Short visit to the beach, the first shot Michael gets wet and than another shot which is on the long version was where Michael drops his bride into the water – oops!  Reception was held at the Vibe Hotel.

Please leave a message for Michael and Leanne
